CISCE opens 2026 recheck portal after ICSE/ISC results

CISCE has opened the online recheck process for the ICSE and ISC 2026 examinations. This is important for students who think there may be a marking or totalling error in one or more subjects after the results are out. According to the official recheck instructions, applications can be submitted only online, and the portal is available for 4 days starting from the next day after the declaration of results. The board has also made clear what recheck actually covers. It is not a full remarking of the paper. Instead, CISCE checks whether all answers were marked, whether there was any mistake in totalling marks, whether the marks were correctly transferred to the cover page grid, and whether the continuation sheets mentioned by the candidate are intact. If a student is still unhappy after recheck, CISCE allows an online re-evaluation request next. The official instructions say that re-evaluation can be applied for only in the subject(s)/paper(s) that were already sent for recheck, and the re-evaluation window opens one day after the recheck results are declared and stays open for 3 days.
